German sugar production expected to rise by 13% -- WVZ

Germany's sugar production in 2024/25 is forecast to rise to 4,775,730 tonnes, up about 13% year on year, the WVZ sugar association reported in its first harvest forecast. The area sown increased by 5.7% to 385,000 hectares, WVZ said.
